TGA’s latest tease of the viral demonic statue is here, and we think we’ve cracked the code – Destructoid

Following the release of the mysterious statue and desert image, The Game Awards and Geoff Keighley are once again teasing us with cryptic messages.

In a December 5 reply to Jeff's original tweetsthe TGA account said: “█████ silent. █████ bleeding. New █████ commotion.” Whatever that means.

Over the last week or so, There has been much speculation regarding the statue and what it might mean.. Half-life 3 first of all, the applicants were closed, since the statue clearly indicates a dark fantasy world with dragons, druid bears, medieval armor, and so on. It made people connect to Diablo 4based on claims made by Jez Corden, which were then refuted by Jason Schreier, one of the most respected gaming journalists.

He went on to say that this is not true. Elder Scrolls 6 either, but didn't want to reveal what it was because he nevertheless considered it big enough to keep it a secret. It left God of War as the only plausible scenario, but Santa Monica and Cory Balrog denied these claims.

So what is it? What does the above code mean? Well, when discussing teasing, my colleagues filled in the blanks with a couple of plausible words. One of them read: “The great ones are silent. The hunter is bleeding. New nightmares are stirring.” If this was not clear, we indicated Bloody 2. However, the pieces of armor and the overall tone of the statue don't inspire hope for a legendary sequel, so we may miss the mark by a wide margin.

Another potential solution: “The gods are silent. The earth is bleeding. A new evil is stirring,” which could mean anything. However, since Schreier thinks it's too big to reveal and ruin heavy marketing, I believe it ties into Larian Studios' next project. The statue coincides thematically with Divinity series and especially Original Sin 2.

We know that Larian has already started working on their next game.although it saved a lot of resources on updating Baldur's Gate 3 for two full years. Perhaps it's time to introduce the game to the world, perhaps a couple of years before release. Larian is a private company, so they could have worked on this sooner. BG3 as far as we know, since he is under no obligation to disclose anything he does.

The dark tone matches the company's style, the eccentricity matches Sven Vincke's style, and since no corporate publisher is creative enough to greenlight this project, it's safe to say it was made by a private company known as Larian Studios.

I, of course, leave room for the most successful solution: “Half is silent. Life is bleeding. New 3 is moving,” because I do not refuse hopium.
