Carney will touch down in Washington, D.C. on Friday morning to attend the men's World Cup draw ceremony, which will be hosted jointly by the three countries.
The midday ceremony will decide the matches between the 48 countries competing in next year's World Cup, with 104 matches to be played across the continent.
Canada will host 13 games and this will be the first time the prestigious tournament will be held on Canadian soil.

However, Trump has recently gave a signal that he is willing to let the deal expire.
The deal he was instrumental in negotiating in 2018, called CUSMA in Canada and USMCA in the United States, will be reviewed next year.
“It expires in about a year, and we will either let it expire or perhaps work out another agreement with Mexico and Canada,” Trump told reporters at the White House on Wednesday when asked about the future of the agreement.
According to Trump, Canada and Mexico “took advantage” of the United States.
“Mexico and Canada took advantage of the United States. It's like every other country, frankly, it's not them. I don't blame them. But every country, because our country was run by stupid people,” Trump said.
The agreement was signed during Trump's first term and in 2020. After signing the agreement, he praised the trade agreement.
“This is the best deal we've ever made” – Trump said at that time.
