10 Chambers shows off new Den of Wolves gameplay, courtesy of community gameplay trailer

Today's PC Gaming Show unveiled a new Den of Wolves gameplay trailer that takes fans of previous 10 Chambers games into the heist of a giant robot factory in the upcoming co-op first-person shooter.

The trailer, which combines player reactions and gameplay, shows off some stealth gameplay before the heist, as well as live gunplay and mechanical Guardians taking down the squad. The trailer ends with a call to add the game to your wishlist, without specifying a release date.

As for the release date, PR director Robin Bjorkell and 10 Chambers co-founder Oscar JT Holm explained why there is no release date yet.

Björkell stated: “I begged management to give us time to release Den of Wolves in a trailer – but no. They won't budge. These developers really don't want to make promises they can't keep for the sake of marketing. It makes my job harder, but as a gamer I respect that. I told them that we at least need to prove that the game exists, and that was the starting point for this trailer. We invited some of our biggest fans to come to our office. and play the game. This is actual footage of them playing the game – not scripted, not us. The game exists – ask them.”

Oscar JT Holm continued: “Even though we haven't done any private or public playtests yet, Den of Wolves has over half a million wishlists. We're so grateful for our community's support and we can't wait to reveal more details about the game. The reason we're hesitant to announce a release window yet is because we learned our lesson with GTFO, which was delayed several times. We don't think it's fair to give false dates for the sake of an announcement.”

Den of Wolves was first teased in August 2023., and later revealed in December of the same year. Even then, any hint of a release date was dispelled by the “ready when it's ready” approach. Looks like those looking for a new heist game will have to wait patiently a little longer.
