Dallas Cowboys took part in the Week 14 Thursday Night Football match against the team Detroit Lions with three straight winners on the line and the belief that the playoffs are just around the corner. Dallas had a 17.8% chance of making the playoffs heading into the game, according to FPI.
The Lions had less momentum, having not posted back-to-back wins since beating the Browns in Week 4 and the Bengals in Week 5. Detroit had a 42.9% chance of making the postseason going into the game.
