Where to find Avinea in Octopath Traveler 0 – Destructoid

During the rebirth of the Pt. 4 quests in Octopath Traveler 0you'll have to find an herb called Avinea, which will help Jasper recover from his injuries before he and Leela return to Wishvale.

Unfortunately for players, obtaining Avinea is not as easy as planting a seed and gather it in the fields of Vishvale. When you talk to Zef, he will tell you that Avinea grows mainly in the Highlands, but it can also be purchased in the Sunlands. Unlike other quests in Octopath Traveler 0However, the game won't just take you to the grass. Instead, you'll have to find it yourself.

If you'd rather not travel through the wilderness and fight the monsters that inhabit it, you can purchase Avinea from the vendor in Sunshade. Go into town, go to the tavern and find an NPC in dark clothes with a feather sticking out of his hat. His title will be “Rare Item Collector” and the only thing he will be able to sell is Avineya. However, he drives a hard bargain; you'll need to fork out over 20,000 leaves, but you can also haggle with him to cut the price in half.

For those of you who don't want to spend that much hard earned leavesyou can also find this herb in the Highlands. More specifically, you'll want to head to Shepherd's Rock, a quaint little village in the mountains. Upon arrival, head north to Shepherd's Rock Castle Square, the main area of ​​the city. On this map, north of the fountain, you'll see an NPC named Miscellaneous Trader selling Apinea – and no, that's not a typo. Although apinea is not the herb we are looking for, you will still have to buy it. After you buy it, an NPC will tell you about Avineya, a plant that we are I'm looking for it, it's no longer in season, but it's still growing in the Cave of Mists. After this dialogue, Avineya will appear in this cave. If you try to collect the herb before talking to the NPC and purchasing Apinea, you won't find it.

Head to Mist Cave, which is located north of Shepherd's Rock, just off the North Shepherd's Rock Pass Trailhead. Once you reach it, look in the lower right corner of the cave, where you can see an exclamation mark on the map below. Interact with the glowing blue spark on the ground and you will pick up Avineya.
