Kaiju Cleanup Will Have Full Co-Op Support When It Comes Out in 2026.

Call in your team for a Kaiju cleanup operation

Monster-themed cleaning simulator Kaiju Cleanup has officially added support for co-op play. mythographer and Brightrock Games said the entire game, when it launches on Steam in 2026, will include full online co-op play, giving players the opportunity to work through massive destruction together from start to finish.

The game can be played alone or in a group of two to four players. Each mission takes the team into ruined areas where the remains of enormous creatures dominate the landscape. Teams traverse Kaiju ruins, remove hazardous substances, and deal with layers of debris scattered throughout city neighborhoods. Players will be able to tackle each challenge with their friends, creating a shared routine of slicing, cleaning, and restoring order.

They can clean up messes as a pair, work as a confident trio, or assemble a full team to deal with the aftermath of massive beasts. Cooperation is essential when navigating contaminated areas, as one careless mistake can create new problems for the group. Friendly Harm Prevention keeps your workflow manageable and prevents extra cleanup during busy moments.

Stuart Morton, Mythwright's publishing director, explained that expanding the game to include full co-op support reflects the community's most pressing request. Since its announcement in September, the project has amassed more than 130,000 wishlists on Steam. This shows a clear interest in the concept and style of the game. The team plans to share more information as development moves closer to launch next year.

Anyone can join the future cleanup effort by signing up for the upcoming playtest and adding the game to their list. Steam wishlist.
