Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee announced Wednesday that they had “obtained never-before-seen photos and video of Jeffrey Epstein's private island that provide a harrowing glimpse behind Epstein's closed doors.”
“See for yourself. We will not stop fighting until we end this cover-up and bring justice to the survivors,” Oversight Dems wrote on X.
“This production is in response to the Oversight Committee's request to the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice for additional information to assist the Committee's ongoing investigation into the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein,” the statement added. “The committee also received reports from JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. Democratic supervisors intend to release the files to the public after their review in the coming days.”
In November, President Donald Trump announced that he had signed legislation allowing the Justice Department to release files related to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act specifically directs the Justice Department to release all unclassified records and investigative materials related to Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as files related to individuals cited in Epstein's previous prosecutions, details related to human trafficking allegations, internal Department of Justice communications related to Epstein, and any details related to the investigation into his death.
Files containing the names of victims, child sexual abuse material, classified materials, or other materials that could jeopardize an active investigation may be suppressed or redacted by the Department of Justice.
