Best prices today: Nomad Stand One
From innovative cables and classic watch bands to premium iPhone cases and stylish chargers, Nomad offers a wide range of stylish tech accessories to suit every Apple user's aspirations.
The company has updated its iPhone Stand One wireless charger to the latest Qi2 25W (Qi 2.2) technology standard to keep its range fresh. This follows similar 25W launches from companies such as Belkin, Anker, Baseus and ESR.
note that Qi2 25 W Only iPhone 16 or later is supported. Older iPhones (12-15) will still charge from chargers, but at 15W, which is still significantly faster than cheaper 7.5W chargers that are simply MagSafe compatible.
Nomad offers two models: the basic Stand One, a 2-in-1 iPhone charging stand and AirPods; and Stand One Max, a 3-in-1 horizontal charging pad for iPhone, AirPods and watches. This is the fourth generation of this classic design.

Nomad Stand One: 2-in-1 wireless charger
The Nomad Stand One is a sleek but very heavy 2-in-1 charging stand for iPhone and AirPods. It's made of metal and glass and looks good enough to decorate the Genius Bar at an Apple Store. The body is made of solid metal with a premium glass panel and an anti-slip rubber base.
Magnetic wireless charging is possible on every iPhone since the 12, with the odd exception of the iPhone 16e.
The AirPods 5W Qi charger is hidden behind the iPhone stand and supports any AirPods case that supports wireless charging.
Measuring 5 x 3.3 x 2.7 inches (12.7 x 8.3 x 6.9 cm), it's compact but not particularly portable, weighing 1.3 pounds (575 g). There are much lighter 2-in-1 stands out there, but one of the most popular Stand One stands is this rugged desk stand that resembles a paperweight.

In our tests, the 25W Stand One lived up to expectations, with a 50% charge time of 36 minutes. That's a little longer than the best we've seen (28 minutes) and the 33-minute average, but certainly faster than the 45-50 minutes it takes a 15W charger, including the previous third-generation One Stand, to do the same.
We test up to 50% because beyond this level charging tends to slow down as safety measures begin to limit the amount of juice flowing into the phone to protect its battery from overheating.
Overheating is a risk for the most powerful devices, as 25W of power provides adequate temperatures at full power.
To reduce these temperatures, some 25W wireless chargers feature active cooling, but the Stand One doesn't have a fan. The company claims that the stand's metal design effectively acts as a heatsink, eliminating the need for a fan. This makes it completely silent.
The stand is durable and non-moving in terms of adjustment. Nomad calls the Stand One's 21° viewing angle “ideal,” but if you want to rotate your phone to a position that suits you better, you'll want to look elsewhere for charging stands. The iPhone can be placed in either portrait or landscape orientation and can be used in Apple's standby mode to view your watch or photos.

Nomad Stand One Max: 3-in-1 wireless charger
The Nomad Stand One Max takes the design of the Stand One and turns it into a horizontal panel measuring 3.2 x 6.3 x 5 inches (8.2 x 16.1 x 12.8 cm). Again, it is very durable and weighs almost 2 pounds (just under 1 kg).
It features the same 25W iPhone vertical wireless charging pad at a 21-degree angle, but with the AirPods pad next to it instead of behind it, and a hard Apple Watch on the other end for fast charging. Any version of Apple Watch is supported.
None of the charging pads are adjustable. As with the 2-in-1 stand, Nomad thinks the viewing angle is perfect, and moving the Apple Watch charger around wouldn't be a good idea since the magnetic connection isn't as strong as the iPhone's.

Two models in two colors.
Both the Stand One and Stand One Max are available in silver-white or black (which Nomad calls “Carbide”).
Each one comes with a decent length 6.6ft (2m) nylon cable in a matching color, but doesn't come with the required 40W or higher USB-C wall charger.
Price
Cost of the Nomad One One stand US$119 / £99 and One Max stand US$159 / £139. For Apple-style chic, you pay Apple prices.
As with Apple and its iPhones, there's no USB-C wall charger included in the box for, ahem, environmental reasons (although there is a cable to match), so unless you have a spare charger, you'll have to invest in a single 40W charger or higher. Check out our recommendations for the best USB-C chargers.
You can certainly buy cheaper, but here you are paying for something classier than most.
