Emmy-Winning Director Frederick E.O. Toye to Helm First Episodes of Prime’s God of War Series

According to Emmy Award-winning director Frederic E.O. Toya, he will be directing the first couple of episodes of God of War. Deadline. Pre-production for the Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM show is reportedly currently underway in Vancouver.

Not much is currently known about the God of War series. it was first revealed that it was in development back in 2022. What is clear, however, is that it will unsurprisingly be based on 2018's God of War (followed by God of War Ragnarök in 2022), which updated the series and moved away from Greek myth to focus on Norse mythology.

The original God of War first came out on PS2 back in 2005.
