Taylor Swift releases official trailer for her upcoming Disney+ special”Taylor Swift | Eras Tour | The final show”, which will be released on December 12.
The film will be a full concert experience captured during the final show of her tour in Vancouver, British Columbia, where the entire set of The Tortured Poets Department will be shown for the first time. This part of the show was added to the tour following the album's release in April 2024. Fans were able to watch an earlier version of the Eras Tour theatrical film on Disney+ before these songs were added to the tour setlist.
“We've had so much time to prepare for the end of this tour, and tonight we'll be playing our final show for you,” Swift says in the trailer, which shows her performing “Long Live.” “I want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of the most exciting chapter of my life to date.”
In addition to releasing “The Final Show,” Swift plans to release the first two episodes of her six-part docuseries “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” also on December 12. The series has been described as “an intimate look into Taylor's life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world.” The series will feature tour support acts including Gracie Abrams and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as guests Ed Sheeran and Florence Welch. Following the release of the first episodes, two additional two-episode episodes will be released in the following weeks.
