Sanrio GmbH, the company behind beloved characters such as Hello Kitty, Kuromi and My Melody, has teamed up with Tap Tap Tales to introduce a new mobile experience called Hello Kitty and Friends World. This colorful, interactive city invites children to experience a vibrant mix of creativity, play and gentle storytelling.
The application invites young players into a living world built on friendship. According to Xavier Prats of Tap Tap Tales, the goal was to create a joyful space where children can express themselves freely. The result is a safe digital playground full of imagination and warmth.
Hello Kitty and Friends World offers a wide range of activities for children. They'll be able to hang out with nine familiar Sanrio characters, including favorites like Hello Kitty, Kuromi and Pompompurin. Each character has their own themed house with five rooms that you can personalize.
Players can decorate rooms and experiment with over a hundred food combinations. All while interacting with animated furniture and objects that react in a charming way. The app also offers twenty-seven mini-games, three for each character, encouraging creativity and exploration through simple and fun challenges.
Along the way, kids can collect over twenty-five plush toys, adding them to their world as decorations or playful companions. The entire process is designed without rules, timers or pressure, giving children the opportunity to create their own stories at their own pace.
With this release, Sanrio and Tap Tap Tales bring the gentle spirit of the Sanrio universe to mobile devices, offering a friendly environment where imagination flourishes and every moment feels welcoming.
