Gather your team in MARVEL Cosmic Invasion
MARVEL Space Invasion launches today on PC and consoles and is a vibrant arcade Beat 'em Up game inspired by classic eras of Marvel storytelling. The game is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X. The game publisher is Your point and was developed by Tribute Games, known for its modern approach to side-scrolling gaming.
The adventure features fifteen playable heroes, including Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm, Phyla-Vell, Venom, Nova, She-Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, Beta Ray Bill, Silver Surfer, Black Panther, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Phoenix, and the Invincible Iron Man. Each character joins a flexible team system called Cosmic Swap, which allows players to swap heroes mid-battle to unlock new combos and unleash powerful attacks.
Both local and online co-op support up to four players, with difficulty depending on group size. The journey takes him through the forces of Annihilus and includes encounters with major villains such as Thanos, MODOK and Taskmaster. By experimenting with different pairings of heroes, you unlock upgrades that strengthen each fighter, adding depth to your lineup.
The game features two modes. The campaign mode offers a story-driven adventure suitable for a wide range of players, while the arcade mode provides a more challenging challenge with unlockable modifiers. Levels pay homage to iconic Marvel locations, from New York and Wakanda to the depths of the Negative Zone.
Tribute Games' signature pixel graphics shape the game's world, while smooth animation captures the spirit of the classic arcade game. Composer Ty Lopez creates an energetic original soundtrack that enhances the spacey atmosphere.
