- Return of Jackson Dart. Dart missed last week's game against the Lions and Week 11's game against the Packers with a concussion but is set to return Monday night. This will be his first game in the post-Brian Daboll era with the former offensive coordinator. Mike Kafka now at the helm. Dart has played well this year, completing 62.7 percent of his passes at an average of 6.8 yards per attempt, throwing 10 touchdowns and three interceptions while adding 317 yards and seven scores on the ground. He desperately needs to find a way to take fewer hits both inside and outside the pocket, and we'll have the first chance. on Monday evening to see if he has learned to glide.
- Drake Maye's The MVP case. After Matthew Stafford three turns in Rams' loss for Panthers On Sunday, May has a chance to take the lead in the MVP race. He hasn't had a big game in a few weeks and his performances have been more subdued in recent weeks, but if he can break through the Giants' defense, he could cement himself as a leader heading into the Patriots' bye week.
- Concerns about the Giants' defense. Last week, New York gave up 494 yards, 23 first downs and 34 points to the Lions, including an all-time high of 237 yards on the ground. - The Patriots are fighting for first place. After Denver's win over Washington on Sunday night, the Patriots need a win here to reclaim first place in the AFC. (The Broncos currently lead thanks to a tiebreaker.) After the bye week, the Pats return with a pair of tougher games against the Broncos. Accounts And Crowsbut finish the game with easy division games against Jets And Dolphins. Meanwhile, the Broncos have games remaining against the Broncos. Raiders, Packers, Jaguars, Managers And Chargers. For a bye in the first round we are in for a dog fight.
Forecast
The Giants brought Jackson Dart back here, but I'm more concerned about their defense than their offense. On the ground, they are gaining 5.9 (FIVE TOP NINE) yards per carry and just gave up 200 million yards (approx.) to Jameer Gibbs in Week 12. TreVeyon Henderson it's obviously not Gibbs, but it has the potential to make a huge profit. And in New England, Drake May is still playing very well.
