Hello Kitty and Friends World offers kid-friendly fun with the iconic Sanrio mascot

  • Hello Kitty and Friends World is out on iOS and Android
  • It offers a simple and relaxed experience suitable for younger players.
  • Interact with Sanrio characters, complete mini-games and collect plush toys.

It seems that Sanrio has recently realized the huge potential of mobile devices. At least it seems so, given the abundance of recent releases such as Hello Kitty: Match of Friends and now the new world of Hello Kitty and friends! Let young Hello Kitty fans explore the lives of their favorite Sanrio characters.

Developed by Tap Tales, Hello Kitty and Friends World is undoubtedly aimed at a younger audience. But if you have kids who are fans of Sanrio's mascot, they would do a lot worse than try the new iOS and Android version.

It's all pretty straightforward, allowing players to explore a town populated by five themed houses that can be decorated and populated by nine Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty herself. Hello Kitty and Friends World is more about interactivity as a sort of “digital toy box” than any real competition or completion.

Hello you

That's not to say there isn't enough content here for your youngsters to explore. In addition to the aforementioned houses that can be customized and characters that can be interacted with, there are also 100 dishes that can be created using the in-game recipe system, and 25 plushies to find.

There are also 27 different mini-games, three for each character, so there's plenty to keep you busy. At a time when online safety is such a concern, it can seem difficult to curate the experience of young players. But I think Hello Kitty and Friends World offers a fun and interesting experience that is safe for kids too.

But if you have nothing better to do while you leave the sprouts to try it out, don't worry. We'll provide you with our extensive (and growing) list best mobile games of 2025featuring all the best launches from the last 11 months!
