You probably know that the first part of the final season Stranger Things The film premiered over the weekend, and as the press tour continues, Millie is talking more and more about her working relationship with David. Earlier this week she said stated in an interview that the professional couple “values our friendship more than anything else.”
Now in a new interview DeadlineMillie appeared to respond to the accusations as directly as she has thus far, specifically addressing whether she felt safe working with David.
“Of course I felt safe,” she replied. “I mean, we've been working together for 10 years. I feel safe with everyone on this set. You naturally just, you know… you’ve been doing this for so long.”
“We also play father and daughter, so naturally you have a closer bond than others because we had some really intense scenes together, especially in season two.”
Millie went on to say she has a “great relationship” with David. “We collaborate very closely on scenes and in preparation for scenes,” she said. “And I'm really excited for everyone to see the labor of love and the hard work that we put into consummating our relationship and what that looks like.”
“And to give some of the fans, especially the Hopper and Eleven fans, those scenes that I think are going to be pretty impressive. But I love it. It makes me want to bring my A-game every time I see that I'm on the list to work with him, because I know he'll bring it right back.”
Well, that's all. It looks like we won't be hearing anything more about this particular story for a while, but who knows.
