Milan currently sit top of Serie A despite Napoli's 1-0 win over Roma on Sunday.
The Rossoneri's victory over Lazio was not without its talking points, but they prevailed. Of course, there were disagreements, but Strahinja Pavlovic barely lifted his hand from his body before the Roman team demanded a penalty. His hands were in the correct position at that moment.

Lazio have struggled at various points this season and given this, their feeling of being lost is not surprising. But there is a theory that Milan are doing what they are doing this season solely because of disadvantage. This is not true.
It is believed that Mike Maignan's penalty saves were one of the reasons why Milan repeatedly kept clean sheets against top teams. This is also considered “luck”.
The truth is that Max Allegri did his best to keep the goalkeeper at the club when he was close to moving to Chelsea. If it weren't for Allegri, Maignan wouldn't even be at the club. The Italian has given him confidence to continue leading the way after last season's disappointment.
There is also a tip that many use against the Rossoneri that they rely on a slight advantage to win.

Much of this depends on how Allegri uses his back three and gets the most out of his players. Fikayo Tomori and Pavlovic faced difficulties last season. But a back three brings them more benefits.
Milan have lost Malik Thiau, but Kony de Winter and David Odogu are not yet fully settled. Despite this, the back line shows its best qualities – as if last season never happened. They hold the defense impeccably, often managing the tempo of the game very well.
On top of that, Allegri is doing all this without a suitable number nine. Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are scoring goals, but they are not established number nines. Milan have yet to improve this part of the squad, but despite the obvious weakness, Allegri's team continues to achieve results.
If anything, they are superior to others. This is not the same as being “lucky”. Even if they are lucky, it will largely depend on Allegri's own decisions and choices influencing that decision.
