The Beast Is Yet to Come Has Entered Steam Early Access

Become a cruel troll in The Beast Yet to Come

The Beast Is Yet To Come is out on Steam Early Access, bringing with it an explosion of chaos from indie studio Mileo.io. In this 3D action roguelike, you step into the majestic figure of a colossal troll or a fearsome giantess, waging intense close-quarters combat across landscapes that change under uncontrollable weather conditions. Each encounter features a brute force attack, allowing you to fight your way through waves of enemies with quick melee attacks and devastating chains of “hell strikes”.

The adventure takes place on five different maps, built around different biomes. During each playthrough, you collect and improve over ninety skills, accumulate powerful upgrades, and adapt to ten enemy types that behave in their own unpredictable ways. Sessions last between fifteen and thirty minutes, creating a rhythm suitable for quick bursts of play or longer periods where builds escalate into something more frantic.

Controller support is fully implemented, and the game builds on the energetic design found in Hades and Vampire Survivors. Instead of choosing the mantle of a traditional savior, you become a force that storms the battlefield, leaving a devastated landscape and scattered enemies in your wake.

The Early Access version already offers generous content, but the full version plans to expand the world even further. New biomes and maps are planned, including swamps, volcanoes, deserts and castle ruins. Additional challenge modes, new skills, additional bonuses and new wearable items will make the game more fun with each playthrough.

Also in development are new types of enemies, more bosses, and three new playable characters. Performance, visual enhancements, audio upgrades and greater accessibility will round out the final package, creating a broader and more varied experience designed to make every return trip lively and unpredictable.
