Geoff Keighley kicked off his annual The Game Awards teaser with social media posts reportedly related to the Diablo 4 expansion.
Presenter Keighley took to social media to show a photo of the monolith located in the Mojave Desert, along with details about the location.

The tweet's title links to the monolith above, as well as its actual location in the Mojave Desert. As you'd expect, people tracked it down and uploaded the footage to social media.

Amidst all this, Windows Central reporter Jez Corden took it from social networks The company has said that Diablo 4 will receive an expansion in 2026 (along with a new ranking system and leaderboards), so an appearance at The Game Awards later this month would make sense.
There are no details yet about what will be in this expansion, but it was earlier this year. Diablo 4 fans suggested that Blizzard leaked information about the Paladin classperhaps the most requested by fans since the release of Diablo 4 in June 2023. Paladin is one of the most popular classes in Diablo 2, so its appearance in Diablo 4, if it happens, will be celebrated by the gaming community. The game's first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, added the Spiritborn class.
Corden's “More” could refer to the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Diablo 4 – perhaps a shadow blob? Or it could be due to something else entirely.
