When you run a successful program that wins games and competes for spots in the College Football Playoff, people will try to poach your coaches. This is something Oregon Ducks head coach Dan Lanning haHe's come to learn over the last few years, and it's a reality he's had to deal with since arriving in Eugene.
While Ducks have been able to gain some stability at their coordinator positions over the past few years, 2025 seems potential, if not likely, for both offensive coordinator Will Stein and defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi to begin their head coaching careers.

On Sunday evening news broke that Kentucky Wildcats are parting ways with Mark Stoops, which is a notable development for Duck fans. Stein, who grew up in Kentucky and played for Louisville Cardinalsis now among the top candidates for the open position.
Since arriving at Oregon, Stein has developed a reputation as an offensive wizard and something of a defensive whisperer. Stine brought Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel to New York as Heisman Trophy finalists for several years in a row, and there's a chance Dante Moore will do the same in 2025.
If Stein decides to take the Kentucky job, it will be interesting to see how Oregon goes at the GM position. There is speculation that the Ducks will promote Rashaad Samples to be their running backs coach and co-offensive coordinator, but it will be a coveted position so it will be obvious where Lanning goes.
