Wondering what to watch to stream?
Every week MobileSyrup covers some of the most notable new films and TV shows. We typically focus on new content from Amazon Prime Video, Crave, Disney+ and Netflix, but other services such as Apple TV+ and Paramount+ will be mentioned when appropriate. Premium video on demand (PVOD) platforms are also fair game as films continue to release early on digital.
Finally, we'll highlight shows or movies produced by Canadian companies, featuring famous Canadian actors or crew, and/or filmed in Canada. (Please note that Prime Video and Paramount+ had not sent their monthly news roundups by the time I began writing this column on November 28, so no potentially noteworthy content is mentioned here.)
Apple TV
Note. I was originally going to include a new thriller in French. Hunting (Hunting), But it was removed indefinitely from Apple's content list due to allegations of plagiarism..
At this time, you can get over 50 percent off 6 months of Apple TV through December 1st..
