Courtney Saro won the women's overall title and Canada captured its second straight team Crystal Globe at the World Tour Finals on Sunday in Dordrecht, the Netherlands.
The Moncton native took silver in the 1,500 meters and then took gold ahead of reigning world champion Xandra Welzeboer of the Netherlands in the 500 meters.
Saro, 25, started from second position and surprised Welzeboer with a pass from the outside on the third lap to take the win.
Florence Brunel of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, also took bronze on the 500m podium.
