The Rocket took on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms tonight in a game that Laval won in a shootout, 5-4.
In the win, Samuel Blais, who was called off waivers by the Habs two days ago, scored two goals in his first game as a Rocket, including the tying goal late in the third period.

The arrival of the Quebecers will partially compensate for the absence of forwards Florian Czekay and Jared Davidson, who were recalled by the Habs.
In front of the Laval goal was Jacob Fowler and he had a decent night in goal against the Phantoms.
The young goalkeeper was quite busy: 38 shots were aimed at him, four of which went wide.
However, this was only the second game in which Fowler allowed more than two goals in his last nine starts, following the October 22 game against the Belleville Senators when he allowed 6 goals on 24 shots.
The Habs prospect has performed well in front of the Rocket net since the start of the season, boasting excellent stats heading into tonight's game including a 2.06 goals-against average and .920 save percentage.
Alex Belzile also had a strong game at forward, scoring twice in the win.

Another player who continues to perform well is David Reinbacher, who recorded a point (assist) in his third straight game. In the last three matches, the defender has five points, including three goals.
The absence of Adam Engstrom, who has been recalled by the Canadiens, is a good opportunity for Reinbacher to take on more responsibility on the blue line for the Rocket and take his game up a notch.
The Rocket continue to do well, although the team has had to deal with several key players missing due to the recall of Engström, Florian Czekay and Jared Davidson by the big club.
The club also had to deal with several blue line injuries throughout much of October.
Despite all this, Laval are top of their division with 26 points from 19 games.
