Read the ESRB rating summary below:

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Rated M for Mature 17+ by the ESRB for blood and gore, partial nudity, language and violence. It's an action game where players take on the role of a courier (Sam Porter Bridges) trying to reunite society in a post-apocalyptic world. Using a third-person perspective, players travel through an open world delivering various goods and packages. Along the way, players can fight human soldiers, combat androids, and shadowy apparitions. Players use melee weapons (e.g. battle guitar) and firearms (e.g. machine guns, sniper rifles) to kill enemies. Players also use stealth takedowns to incapacitate soldiers without being noticed. The battles are sometimes frantic, complete with realistic gunfire, blood spatter and slow-motion effects. Some sequences depict additional acts of violence and/or bloodshed: a robot samurai cuts off a man's arms and legs; the man set the fire in a fantastic way; a man cut in half by a giant machine. The word “f**k” can be heard in the game.
