Anna KepnerThe teenager's aunt says the family is in “turmoil” as they are left with more questions than answers regarding the murder of an 18-year-old aboard a Carnival cruise ship earlier this month.
Her aunt Crystal Wrightsaid Fox 35 Orlando this week the family is “just sitting here waiting” for news from authorities and expressed disappointment that further action had not been taken against her half-brother, who is believed to be under investigation over her death.
She pleaded… “We don't understand why, if the boy is a suspect, why hasn't he been charged yet? What's going on there?”

Anna's ex-boyfriend and his father painted a disturbing picture of her relationship with her 16-year-old stepbrother, saying that he was passionate with her and that he was once caught climbing on top of her while she was sleeping in her bed.
Anna reportedly shared a room aboard Carnival's Horizon with her half-brother and brother, and her ex told Inside Edition that her brother allegedly heard a violent argument in their room between them before she died.
The cheerleader's body was found in the cabin on November 8, reportedly wrapped in a blanket and stuffed under the bed. Her cause of death, according to a document obtained by ABC News, there was suffocation caused by “holding the bar”, this means that someone had their hand on her neck.
She is not believed to have been sexually assaulted. The investigation remains active.
Anna's aunt said she believed Anna was fighting for her life, stating: “I know she was fighting for her life, so it's hard. It's rude.”
