After the future of their franchise went against their court in the NBA Cup, the team Los Angeles Lakers were forced to make last-minute changes on Friday.
All 30 NBA teams are changing their courts to give them a more decorative look. NBA Cup competition throughout the regular season, but there have been numerous complaints since it began.
Just recently, Luka Doncic called his Lakers' court “dangerous.”

Doncic's claim was significant because technicians deemed the NBA Cup court used by the Lakers to be unplayable for Friday's game against the Dallas Mavericks, the team said. via ESPN. As such, the game will be played on the Lakers' regular playing field.
Doncic had 43 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds as the Lakers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 135-118. But exotic courts designed to distinguish NBA Cup games from the regular game came under the close attention of the Slovenian superstar.

“Set up the courts, please.” Doncic said. “It’s just slippery. It's dangerous… I've slipped many times. It was clear that many players had slipped. It's dangerous, man.”
The venue is expected to be inspected and fixed in time for a potential quarter-final match at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers have now won each of their three NBA Cup games to secure a spot in the quarterfinal round.
