Skins games returned on Friday for the first time since 2008, and while there were big winners, there was also one big loser.

The last time this event was held was in 2008. Four players from the September tournament took part. Ryder Cup: Keegan Bradley and Xander Schauffele of the United States, and European internationals Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry, the latter of whom held the cup on the 18th hole at Bethpage Black.

Bradley was the day's big winner, taking home $2.1 million, with $900,000 coming from a birdie on the par-3 12th at Panther National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. It was the biggest prize in Skins Game history until Fleetwood earned $1.25 million three holes later.

Bradley won a total of 11 skins, nine of them over two holes, while Fleetwood took home a total of $1.7 million. Lowry's winnings were significantly lower at $200,000, but Schauffele returns home empty-handed.

After the match, each of the golfers was presented with large checks for their winnings. Even though Schauffele didn't win a penny, he didn't stay away.
