The rapper showed up with his fellow Detroiters to rock their hometown with “That's How I Feel” and “Until I'm Curled.”
Jack White did Detroit proud of thursday's exciting stadium break Detroit Lions'A Thanksgiving classic, an annual tradition that starts NFLThanksgiving gaming holidays. This year, the Lions host the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field, where White took center stage in his hometown game.
White began with the song “This is how I feel” from his 2024 album No namebefore they were joined on stage by members of Detroit Eminem for high octane hard rock blend the rapper's track “'Till I Collapse”. White then brought the game home at half-time with a stunning display from the Seven Nations Army stadium favorites, accompanied on the field by the Detroit Lions cheerleaders.
While White excelled at the break, the hometown team's early performance was less impressive, although things picked up at the half. After two quarters, the Packers extended their lead by three at 17-14. Last year marked the first time since 2016 that the Lions won the annual NFL Thanksgiving faceoff, and fans are hoping for a repeat.
White's appearance was executive produced by Detroit-based Eminem and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg. The couple entered long-term partnership with the club to produce all aspects of the team's hiatus production through 2027, including selecting performers for the Detroit Lions Birthday Classic.
Earlier this month, White was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Meg White (who, as expected, did not attend the ceremony) as the White Stripes.
