Secretlab Titan Evo gaming chair impresses with build quality, customization

Titan Evo from Secretlab debunked my thoughts about game chairs.

I avoided playing chairs for a long time, because I realized that they are not very good for ergonomics. As a person who already has a bad back, good ergonomics is important to me, so I completely avoided playing chairs.

However, having spent more than a month, sitting on the Titan Evo gaming chair, which Secretlab sent me for consideration, I was surprised to find that this did not cause any problems for my back. In fact, the chair as a whole was quite convenient, and I felt that it supported enough. Of course, this is not as good as Some ergonomic chairs that I testedBut in general, Titan Evo is quite convenient.

Part of what Titan Evo makes is so convenient – how much it adapts. It has tons of a folding and tilt with adjustable tension and customizable lumbar support. As a rule, I am not a fan of inclination on office chairs and often lock my chairs on the spot (I have a habit of leaving back and almost falling from a chair, because I think that I am falling). Nevertheless, the Titan Evo tension adjustment allowed me to dial in the chair the perfect tension on the wall that did not make me feel that I was falling.

Lumbar support was also excellent. Thanks to the dials on both sides of the chair, I was able to set the perfect lumbar support for my back. My only real complaint about lumbar support is that I think she has a creaky sound when I leaned back on a chair. This is not a huge deal, but to hear that you are leaning, this is a little not how to lean back.

On the setting topic, I am also a big fan of Titan Evo armrests. Sports “4D” armrests that can be moved up/down, left/right, and rotate at an angle for the perfect position. In addition, Secrestlab offers what he calls “Cloudswap” technology, which is just a bizarre term for a magnetic system that holds the armrests in place. You can buy alternative armrests and easily exchange them.

Secretlab also sent me a couple of different armrests to try. By default, the armrests are good, but not excessive – rather simple polyurethane (PU) foam. They feel quite firm for me, and I am not a big fan of the sensation of PU. Nevertheless, two other options for SecretLab, sent for me for testing, were much more interesting.

Firstly, these are the armrests of plush memory. These are absolutely fantastic, offering a soft velor lid of foam with high density. I found them very convenient, and the softness of the velor was a huge plus.

Along with Plyushcelll, Secretlab also sent Technogel armrests using German -made memory gel. As a result, I used Technogel armrests most of the three. While they do not have a melor with a soft sensation, Technogel armrests have slightly larger than memory foam, and an almost gelly sensation is a non-powerful name. In addition, I discovered that the Technogu had an almost cooling feeling that I really appreciated on a hotter days. While I usually do not recommend updating, in the case of Titan Evo, I would definitely rise for the plush -heel or armrests of Technogel, since they are much better than the main PU included in a chair.

I also want to quickly mention the upholstery. Secretlab offers quite a few options, including various Leatherettes and fabrics. The main difference between the options for leather and fabric seems to be soft compared to the breathability, so I decided to try Softweave Plus fabric, as this is the most breathing option. I believe that I am a very warm person, so the presence of breathing material helps me to maintain coolness. I found Titan Evo rather hard, but I did not try the Leatherett option to see whether it is much softer.

In general, the Titan Evo chair was really impressive for me. I found it convenient for long -term sites for both work and playing. The assembly quality is excellent, assembly is a breeze, and it is just a very solid product. My only warnings are that it is on the more expensive side, and for some people it can be better invested in a high -quality ergonomic office chair. This really comes down to your spine and will make sure that he receives optimal support. Titan Evo felt good for me, but it may not work well for everyone.

In addition to upholsties, Titan Evo is produced in three sizes: small, ordinary and XL (I tested the XL version, because it was best suited for my growth and weight). Small and ordinary sizes have the same price, while XL costs an additional $ 55. There are also additions as the aforementioned options for the armrest. Plushcell is an additional $ 99, and Technogel costs $ 109. You can also add a chair superstructure to hold your legs for $ 249. And this does not even fall into other accessories that Seviretlab offers, for example, footboards, floor cards and special cleaning products for a chair. None of the superstructure or accessories is strictly necessary, and you can completely skip them or wait to pick them up later when you really need them.
