Cleveland Browns Rookie cornerback Sheader Sanders made franchise history with a Week 12 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, and head coach Kevin Stefanski will keep him in the team's starting lineup this week.
However, there is a group Sanders fans who have been saying all season that Stefanski was “sabotaging” the Colorado product. Sanders says the opposite.
The Browns' fifth-round pick was talking to reporters when one reporter said, “All your supporters say Kevin Stefanski sabotaged you.”

“So, you just want to cause trouble, huh?” Sanders responded at a press conference.
Although Dillon GabrielWith the rookie quarterback, two rounds ahead of Sanders in April, cleared to play this week after suffering a concussion, Stefanski named Sanders the Browns' starter.
So, after a follow-up question about what Sanders' relationship is with his head coach, he emphasized how little the outside view of his situation in Cleveland matters.

“What people do outside the building is not really under my control,” he responded. “It's not in my control. So I don't – you act like I go out and tell them to do whatever they want. You know, it's not something I control or something I can do.
“Overall, I'm just happy to be here. “Coach Stefanski has been coaching since I got here and he’s doing a great job with everything that’s going on.”
Sanders added that his relationship with Stefanski is “definitely like a coaching one,” meaning he tells him “what I need to do on and off the field.”

“We've definitely grown – our relationships and everything have grown. So I'm just glad to be here.”
Sanders became the first Browns rookie quarterback since 1999 to record his first career win in a 24-10 win over the Raiders. He scored his first career touchdown thanks to the speed of rookie running back Dylan Sampson, who broke through the Las Vegas defense for 66 yards.
Sanders also showed great accuracy, finding rookie receiver Isaiah Bond for a 52-yard strike that would have been his first touchdown if not for a limited tackle.
Sanders' performance was a breath of fresh air for Cleveland fans, who witnessed the team's third victory this season. Even President Donald Trump praised the young signal-caller.
“Shader Sanders was GREAT. Winning the first game, starting his career as a professional (for Cleveland). Great genes. I TOLD YOU SO!”

“I'm just grateful that he even took time out of his day to be able to speak out and be supportive,” he said via 92.3 Fan.
Sanders will face a tough San Francisco 49ers defense in his first career start at home in Cleveland.
