Another Habs win over Mammoth

After a great win over Toronto on Saturday, the Habs took on the Mammoth again tonight.

It was the beginning of an important and difficult journey for the Martin St. Louis team.

For the occasion, Jakub Dobes was in goal and Adam Engström made his NHL debut. Here are the ingredients:

The Habs got on the scoreboard first.

Zachary Bolduc finally scored a power play goal.

What a shot!

And later in the same period, Nick Suzuki scored his 400th NHL point.

He finished the play by Bolduc and Cole Cofield.

In the second period the wind changed.

In 4:19, Mammoth scored three goals and took the lead.

At the beginning of the third period Montreal thought they had tied the game, but goal-scorer Juraj Slafkowski was ruled offside.

But it was only a matter of time before Nick Suzuki scored his second goal on the same power play.

And Ivan Demidov regained the advantage for the guests with an accurate, veiled strike.

4-3.

That's how the game ended: Montreal held on until late.

In particular, thanks to the genius of Dobes.

Final score: 4-3.

Martin St. Louis' team returns to action Friday night against the Vegas Golden Knights. Please note: the game will take place at 16:00.
