BBC Inside Science – What’s in the wording of the COP 30 negotiations?

Available for 27 days

COP 30 delegates from around the world are preparing to leave the Amazonian city of Belem in Brazil. But not before some very important documents have been drawn up. Camilla Bourne, former advisor to Cop 26 President Alok Sharma, talks to Tom Whipple about the scientific significance of the language negotiators choose. And it's the eve of The Ashes. The England men's cricket team will face their Australian counterparts in Perth and cricket fans on both sides will be hoping the sporting records fall. But are the chances of breaking these records becoming increasingly unlikely? And can mathematics explain everything? Tom asks Keith Yates, author and professor of mathematical biology and public engagement at the University of Bath. Plus, science broadcaster Caroline Steele is in studio to discuss this week's brand new scientific discoveries. If you want to test your knowledge of climate change, go to bbc.co.uk, search for BBC Inside Science and follow the links to the Open University to take the test.
