Clean Up Earth Has Released an Updated Demo Today

Uncover Hidden Beauty in Clean Up Earth

Charming environmental cleanup simulation game Clean Up Earth is launching an updated demo on Steam today, adding a host of features and improvements inspired by feedback from early players. The update deepens gameplay, enriches storytelling elements, and makes gameplay smoother as the game progresses toward its upcoming Kickstarter campaign.

Players can now team up with a companion drone that actively detects and removes trash. The crafting and reconstruction system allows players to collect resources, restore buildings, and discover new areas. The new map accommodates up to ten players, offering larger, more dynamic multiplayer sessions.

The update introduces Quantum Memory, allowing players to visualize past buildings and human activity, adding a new layer of exploration. The developers have modified the environment to include more complex layouts and exploration paths. Voiced NPCs now help players understand the mechanics and enhance the world-building capabilities of the game. Early wildlife species return as players restore habitats, and character customization now offers more options for hair, clothing, and colors.

The tutorial system becomes smoother with four short lesson cards, and players can now use the whistle mechanic to coordinate with others. Performance improvements improve frame rates, stability, and overall optimization. The demo also adds several localizations, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Dutch and Czech.

Clean Up Earth will release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in the first quarter of 2026. Magic Pockets will announce release dates for the consoles following the Kickstarter campaign. The game will also appear at the Best Indies Showcase next month and will be part of the second week of the upcoming Jingle Jam, supporting WWF and bringing awareness to this eco-adventure.
