Relics and amulets will appear in Titan Quest II
Titan Quest II will make your heroes even stronger. The next Early Access update, coming soon, will introduce Relics and Amulets, two new types of insertable items that can upgrade weapons, armor, rings, and amulets.
Every adventurer has experienced the thrill of finding the perfect weapon: the design, the stats, the attack speed – everything comes together perfectly. And yet there is always the thought: what if it could be even stronger? An upcoming update will answer this question with a new level of customization.
Amulets are the more common of the two, and can be obtained from enemies through clever means, such as skeleton bones or boar skins. Each fragment you collect gives a bonus, and combining three fragments of the same type gives an additional effect. For example, one Ichthian Fin increases cold damage, and three together also increases the duration of the ailment, giving players more control over their fighting style.
Relics work on the same principle, but they are much rarer and more powerful. Collecting three Zeus Lightning Essence Fragments not only increases attack and cast speed and lightning damage, but also provides a chance to instantly kill non-boss enemies.
The update will initially add around 40 different amulets and relics, laying the foundation for future expansions. Over time, the developers plan to introduce even more items, offering players endless ways to customize their heroes' equipment and abilities.
