Join classic '90s action in Brotherhood
The Brotherhood enters the world stage with the force of an open steel door. A new first-person shooter from indie company FatCatGames is coming to Steam and consoles, carrying the unmistakable pulse of a '90s classic. It embodies the raw traits of early Wolfenstein-style design while creating its own shadowed identity built around mutagens, oppressive corridors, and the thrill of staying one step ahead of danger.
The game follows a lone test subject as he tries to escape from a buried laboratory where experiments have turned horrific. Each level is spread out like a forgotten blueprint, with branching passages, hidden routes, and hazards designed to keep players on their toes. Every encounter depends on pure instinct. There are no guiding arrows or comforting hints here. What you carry forward is timing, awareness, and a faint satisfaction that you will be able to survive whatever the institution throws at you.
Brotherhood is aimed specifically at fans of uncompromising shooters. His rhythm is fast and unfiltered. The rooms echo with the sound of old-school gunfire as the atmosphere shifts between grim tension and bursts of frantic action. FatCatGames draws on retro influences with clear intent, building on a familiar foundation and creating new twists on top of it.
Lead developer Belkovsky said: “Brotherhood is our love letter to the shooters we grew up with—rich, atmospheric, and unapologetic in an old-school way. We created the full version based on community feedback and are thrilled to finally share it all with players around the world.”
With its global launch, Brotherhood becomes a modern tribute to the defining era of shooters. He invites players to descend into its corridors, trust their reflexes and make their way to daylight. The game is now available on PC, Xbox One. Xbox X/S, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5.
