After losing more than 200 pounds and shaving off his famous beard, Jelly Roll is showing off her new look.
The country music star who recently… received three nominations at the upcoming 2026 Grammy Awards.gave fans another look at his transformation by sharing a new selfie. Instagram.
“AI is going crazy these days,” Jelly Roll captioned his November 25 selfie.
And he had no shortage of encouraging comments from his family, friends and fans.
“Health and happiness, kids!!!” it was written by lead guitarist Jack Fowler.
“Here's a new jelly roll looking great my brother I'm proud of you for what you've done in your life🥂🥂🥂🥂,” singer-songwriter Sammy Hager commented.
“ABSOLUTE DAWGGG🔥🔥,” singer Bailey Zimmerman commented.
“YOU LOOK AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” wrote Shinedown.
The 40-year-old made his “long overdue” return to YouTube on November 20th with 15 minutes vlog titled “How I Really Feel About the Grammys…” Fans were shocked to learn that he ended his video by shaving off the beard he had worn for over a decade.
“At this point, I'm sure some of you are tired of hearing about my weight loss. But a lot of things change when you start losing weight. You realize things. One of the things I realized is that I don't know what I look like. I had a beard to try and hide my double chin,” he said.
Before presenting his new image to the audience, Jelly Roll surprised his wife: Bunny XOand his daughter Bailey Ann who told her father: “I don’t like this! You look like a turtle.”
“You've probably already guessed that I look like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle,” the “Need A Favor” singer jokingly agreed, finally revealing his face to the camera.
“You know, one of the reasons I even started growing a beard was because I was so obese that it was easier to hide what was going on here,” he continued.
Before starting his weight loss journey, Jelly Roll weighed over 500 pounds. In April, he proudly shared his inspiration on Jimmy Kimmel Live. losing over 200 pounds.
“So my goal is I want to skydive, I want to ride a roller coaster, I want to ride a bull,” he listed. “I know it sounds crazy. I want to fight an alligator. I have a list of things I want to do.”
The singer continues to keep fans updated on his progress and explained in 2024 on Bunnie XO “Dumb Blonde” Podcast the reason for its transparency.
“What I want the world to know and what I want people to see, Bunny, is that I wasn't successful because of my weight,” he said. “Despite this, I was successful. Somehow I was able to achieve this success while carrying 550 pounds. This is crazy.”
