After Booker, 28, won the competition in Arlington, Texas, on Monday, several competitors were sent explicit photos and videos showing Booker to be a transgender former porn star. according to the Daily Mail.

The official Strongman Games announced the decision to strip Booker of the title, with Andrea Thompson taking first place.

The organization confirmed its rules, stating: “We are clear that participants can only compete in the category based on their biological sex assigned at birth.

“The Official Strongman World Championships is an event that rightfully represents one of the pinnacles of the strength world,” the statement said. “We are disappointed on behalf of all those who participated fairly and legitimately that attention has been diverted from their efforts, which deserve to be celebrated, no matter how they performed or where they ended up.

Fellow competitors had no idea

Thompson told the Daily Mail that neither she nor her fellow competitors had any idea Booker was transgender until Monday morning, when images and videos began circulating.

“It came from an adult entertainment site, let’s put it that way,” Thompson told the publication. “Very explicit photographs and videos of this person which then clearly question her gender.”

Booker reportedly starred in several pornographic films under the name Jemmy J.
