BUFFALO, NY – Accounts added another veteran receiver signing Brandin Cooks to the active roster on Tuesday.
Cooks was suspended from participating in New Orleans Saints on Saturday and cleared the waivers on Monday. He requested his release, a process that took place last week, Saints coach Kellen Moore said.
The Bills have an elevated receiver. Gabe Davis from the practice squad in the last two games. Buffalo also signed a receiver/returner. Mecole Hardman this month, but he was placed on injured reserve with a calf injury after failing to return a punt in his first game with the team in Week 11.

The Bills will not have a 1,000-yard receiver for the second year in a row. tight end Dalton Kincaid has the most scoring touchdowns on the team with four, despite only playing in eight games this season.
The Bills offense has scored fewer than 20 points in all three road losses this year and heads to Pittsburgh on Sunday (4:25 p.m. ET, CBS). The offense is averaging 32.5 points per game at home this season compared to 21.8 on the road.
Bills general manager Brandon Beane said after the trade deadline that the team tried to acquire players but no deals materialized.
Cooks, 32, was a first-round draft pick by the Saints in 2014 and has 729 receptions, 9,697 yards and 60 touchdowns in 12 seasons.
This was his second stint with the Saints this year. He also played for New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans And Dallas Cowboys.
Cooks has 19 catches for 165 yards and no touchdowns in 10 games with the Saints this season.
