But there are so many deals (and “deals”) right now, where it can be difficult to know which ones are worth buying and which ones can be a little misleading. Luckily, I review laptops for a living, and I've narrowed down my favorite Black Friday laptop deals for you, whether you're looking for a productivity machine, a gaming buddy, or just a cheap little flip phone to get online.

The best thin and light laptops

Performance laptops will be some of the most common sales you'll see this Black Friday, especially if you're looking for thin and light premium devices.

Apple laptops

Black Friday deals on gaming laptops are a little less common, mainly because there are so many options that you can't necessarily expect the one you want to go on sale or the ones with the most attractive specs. However, this Black Friday I found some attractive options at different price points.

• Starting from the lower end of the spectrum, Lenovo LOQwhich sells for $650 at Best Buy. The package includes an entry-level RTX 5050 graphics card, a fairly powerful Intel Core i5-13450HX chip, and standard budget gaming equipment: 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal memory. The screen also has a 1920 x 1080 resolution, but given that it's more intended for light gaming, that shouldn't be an issue. This is a good choice if you mainly play small indie games or competitive games such as Fortnitewhich are generally optimized for users of all types of machines.

• If you want a more average option, try Asus TUF Gaming A16which at Best Buy is $1,200. This will get you an AMD Ryzen 9 chip, an RTX 5070 GPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and a 1920 x 1200 resolution screen. Best Budget Laptops

Finally, you can also find an inexpensive laptop if all you need is a reliable computer that you can use for light work and browsing the Internet.
