An 11-year-old boy in England died in front of his mother and grandmother at home… just hours after he complained to his doctor about a sore throat and was told there was nothing to worry about.
Frankie-Ray Lowe On November 14, he saw a doctor in England but was told his sore throat was “just a virus” and was sent home, where he died… according to South West News Service.
Boy's mother Keely Lowesays her son's condition took a turn for the worse later that night… she says he was laughing and playing as usual when he suddenly started having trouble breathing.
Keely says her son came into the living room gasping for breath and had a look of “absolute horror” on his face. She says they went to the bathroom and within seconds he passed out and fell on the toilet.
She says his lips were gray and his eyes were glassy… and his grandmother performed CPR for 30 minutes, but he only opened his eyes for a couple of seconds and spat out some saliva before passing out again.
Keeley called an ambulance and her son was rushed to hospital, where doctors put him on a ventilator and told her his chance of survival was “very slim”. She says she was told that if he lived he would have brain damage and she eventually passed out.
Frankie-Rae's cause of death is unclear… his mum says she has no idea what's wrong with him and feels she “failed him”.
