We've been in love with Carol Sturka (Rhea Seehorn) ever since we were first introduced to the grumpy curmudgeon in the first episode of Vince Gilligan's mind-blowing sci-fi series. For many. She's a romance novelist with such self-loathing that watching her is like a train wreck: you can't look away. And yet, although she can be harsh, Carol remains deeply sympathetic and sympathetic, whether it be because of her observation of depression. Golden girlsor reacting to the news that the world is now taken over by a hive mind is understandably maddening.
More importantly, Carol is on a mission to save the world from happiness, despite being the most unlucky person in the world. So far things are not going very well. It's taken to a whole new level in For many episode 4“Please, Carol” as she takes matters into her own hands, forcing the hivemind to do something drastic.
Carol is also at odds with her 12 surviving comrades, who, like Carol, are immune to the alien transmission that is causing the rest of humanity to merge. But unlike Carol, her fellow survivors are more than happy to live alongside the hivemind in this new, peaceful world. If anything, they see Carol as more of a threat because of her short temper and how it causes the hive mind to shut down completely, killing people in the process.
But perhaps she will be able to defeat them.
In an exclusive clip from For many In Episode 5, “There's Milk,” provided to Polygon by Apple, Carol records a message to her fellow survivors. In a much more noble tone than before, Carol once again asks them to answer the call, save humanity and return the world to the way it was before. Whether she gets even one call back remains to be seen.
But viewers won't have to wait long: “Got Milk” will air on November 26 on Apple TV. After this new episodes For many will continue to arrive on Fridays.
