dotAGE Has Launched Its Endless Mode Today

Play dotAGE forever

Michele Pirovano is the solo developer behind the well-received indie strategy game. dotAGEreleased a new free update. This update includes a special mode called “Endless”, a feature designed for players who want to keep building and surviving for as long as possible before the Domains eventually overwhelm their settlement. To celebrate the occasion, the game will be discounted throughout the week.

dotAGE is a demanding roguelike survival game set before the impending apocalypse. Players take on the role of the Elder, a man who foresaw the fall of the world. Instead of giving in to fate, the Elder leads a small group into an empty valley in search of a new beginning. Every decision matters as the villagers rely on careful guidance to weather the increasingly harsh conditions approaching their home.

The game takes inspiration from board game mechanics with a deep worker placement system. Players construct buildings, assign villagers to perform daily tasks, grow crops, care for animals, forge tools, upgrade buildings, and train new specialists. Each action relies on a wide range of resources, creating a layered and thoughtful playstyle.

With over two hundred buildings, thirty professions and seventy resources, the game offers a lot of variety. The Elder's memories are unclear, meaning no two playthroughs unfold the same way. Constant improvements and unlockable features, including new ailments, VIP characters and additional elders, gradually expand the world.

Domains, the mysterious forces that shape the land, generate events every turn. Their consequences can include poison, disease, earthquakes, or even unexpected kitten-related moments. Players can also choose from several difficulty levels to suit their preferred pace.

dotAGE combines cozy pixel art with strategic depth to create a world full of challenge and discovery. Go ahead, dive into it now!
