From the outside looking in, it seems to me that Canada has taken blow after blow from the old Trumpster, and now we are in a position to give him back some of his own medicine when it comes to buying our new fighters.

I personally think we should tell him to throw down the stones and join the Swedish consortium that is promising a much better deal for Canada as a whole by promising to open a factory here.

All we hear is the need to diversify trade and this is now before us, so Mr Prime Minister, hit back where Donnie Boy hurts the most.

Or sit down and get another slap. Remember the old Elbows Up that you sold us?

WE NEED A WAY TO FIRED THEM

Re: DRover: Canadians deserve the right to fire bad politicians, online, November 19.

I couldn't agree more with Mr. Drover's opinion. Never in the history of this country have we needed the ability to fire politicians so badly. More than ten years of liberal scandals are enough. Whether it's because they've “flipped”, become embroiled in scandal, outright lied about what they're going to do, or because they've proven they're more self-serving than serving the public, we need a way to get rid of bad politicians.

By allowing them to stay, distrust grows, frustration grows, and we continue to pay not only in salaries and benefits, but also in supporting projects or initiatives that voters may not like.

How do we know that the loyalty they claim to one party is not just a façade? Chris d'Entremont called himself a “Red Tory”. To me you are one or the other, not both. In my opinion, he turned out to be an irritable child who was angry because he didn't get the job he wanted.

The ability to fire bad politicians should be available not only at the federal level, but at all levels of government. We have to pay taxes, so we have the right to proper representation.
