Dallas Cowboys safety Aaliyah Clark is far from a household name among NFL fans, but on Sunday he personified what it means to never give up on a game.
There are just over five minutes left in the Cowboys vs. Cowboys game. Philadelphia Eagles and the game was tied at 21, Dallas gave the ball to Xavier Gipson. The returner made several people miss, but when he tried to take the field, Clark knocked the ball out of his hands.

Cowboys kicker Trent Sieg jumped on the ball, giving Dallas excellent field position. Dallas failed to put any points on the board. However, they won the game 24–21 thanks to a Brandon Aubrey field goal.
Clark was hailed as an unsung hero on Sunday night and Monday morning as replays of the game showed he was pushed to the ground as he tried to get off the field. He was able to work his way through the Eagles' special teams unit and force a turnover.
Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer was impressed.

“This is a game ball. He'll get the game ball for that,” he told NFL reporter Ed Werder.
He was far from the only one.
Clark, 22, joined the Cowboys after spending his college career at Rutgers and Syracuse. He played in six games for Dallas and made 15 tackles.
