Enzo Maresca holds a press conference ahead of Chelsea's game in Barcelona and has a lot to talk about after a big win at the weekend and two big games this week.
One of the issues that emerged early on was the form of Marc Giu, who scored Enzo Fernandez's goal against Burnley after coming on as a substitute. With the Chelsea player set to join his former team tomorrow night, I thought now would be a good time to talk about him.

“Mark is doing very well. He was here last season and had the opportunity to play a lot and then got injured,” Maresca said.
“He's growing, he's improving. It was a little difficult at first because of the injuries, but he's working really hard and we're happy with him. He's young; he needs to keep learning, so he'll be ready when the opportunity comes.”
We have already written about some praises. that Giu is getting and we don't expect that to stop anytime soon if he continues to make such an impact off the bench.

Liam Delap will soon feel the pressure in the starting line-up if he fails to score. It's clear that Maresca likes to use Joao Pedro as a starting nine, with Giu offering more in that substitute role than Delap in the starting line-up.

At the press conference, Lamin Yamal was compared to Estevao Willian, and you can imagine how Enzo Maresca dealt with this comparison.
In other news, Yamal Maresca was asked if he plans to use former Barcelona player Marc Cucurella to stop him and although he played down the threat, we all know this will be a key fight.
