Climate activist Greta Thunberg is at it again, and this time she seems to have had enough of protesting for Hamas and Gaza and is turning her attention back to the environment. To highlight the problems of such a fragile ecosystem, she decided to harm it.
And how did she and her comrades do it? They painted Venice's famous Grand Canal green. The color is appropriate, of course, because her antics are nauseating:
It's too early for St. Patrick's Day, so is this a tribute to Greta's Hamas friends? 🤷🏻♀️

Thunberg and her fellow activists were seizure over COP30 environmental summit in Brazil and the inability of participating countries to harm themselves with arbitrary restrictions due to the “climate crisis”:
Climate activist Greta Thunbergalong with 35 other members of the Extinction Rebellion group, were suspended from participating in Venice on Sunday after they painted the Grand Canal green in protest.
The green paint spill and other stunts carried out by environmental activists were in response to Italy's opposition to including restrictions on fossil fuels in the agreement agreed at the COP30 summit on Friday in Brazil. For these actions, the organizer was banned from entering the city for 48 hours and fined $172.
48-hour ban and $172 fine. Are you kidding me? The Italian version of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg must have been behind this case because his philosophy is: “Watch criminals commit crimes and let them go immediately with a slap on the wrist.” And will a 48-hour ban and a small fine deter them from continuing such destructive behavior in the future? I doubt it very much.

Sabotage on one of the world's most famous and beloved waterways could indeed serious harm:
The vandalism, which threatened irreparable damage to the beloved UNESCO World Heritage site, was the latest in a group of environmental activists protesting climate change, particularly Italy's resistance to including restrictions on fossil fuels in the agreement reached in COP30 summit in Brazil on Friday.
The group said it also dumped paint into lakes, canals, rivers and fountains in 10 Italian cities, which it believes will go some way to drawing attention to what it calls the “massive consequences of climate collapse.” Washington Equizor reported.

We have looked at many cases “climate activism“, where crazy people block roads, throw tomato soup at priceless Van Gogh paintings, glue themselves to the ground, etc. Every time I can't help but think what these low IQ people hope to get out of this, other than maybe a little fame?
The “punishment” in this case is ridiculous. Until the authorities begin to treat vandalism with the harshness it so sadly deserves, we will continue to see extremists continue to do it. For them, seeing their photos in the newspaper is definitely worth the $172 fine.
However, what exactly they achieve for the environment is another question. In my estimation, the answer is “an empty pile of nothing.”
