Hughes injured his hand at a team dinner

There are no sharp objects visible near Hughes in the photograph, which can be seen as a positive. The New Jersey Devils forward suffered a hand injury at a team dinner in Chicago on November 13th. Hughes cut his hand in what the Devils called “chance”.
