Cruise ship death ruled a homicide

Anna Kepner was killed on the cruise ship Carnival… at least that's what her death certificate concluded.
Document received ABC Newsreports that Anna died as a result of “mechanical asphyxia” on November 6, and notes that the 18-year-old girl “was mechanically strangled by another person(s).”

As you know… FBI agents found two bruises on the side of Anna's neckShe was believed to have died from a “bar hold” – a hand placed on the neck.
Preliminary information indicates that Anna had no drugs or alcohol in her system, and no signs of sexual assault… but the autopsy and toxicology results have not yet been released.
Anna was reportedly found by a steward on November 8 – wrapped in a blanket and hidden under a bed – during a Caribbean cruise she was on with her father. Christopher Kepnerher stepmother Shontel Hudsonand Hudson's children.
This is quite disturbing… a recent report claimed that Anna's half-brother supposedly had a strange hobby with a young cheerleader… who allegedly once climbed on top of her in bed, according to Stephen Westinthe father of Anna's ex-boyfriend.
Anna's grandparents sat on camera for a new interview in which they said Anna and her 16-year-old half-brother are “two peas in a pod.” They said authorities told them the half-brother is considered a suspect in the case, but they believe he is innocent.
So far… there have been no arrests or criminal charges.
