Shortly after Max is almost captured by Vecna, Nancy discovers that the Kreel house appears to be an important location, and while visiting it, she learns that Vecna ​​is in the Kreel house in the Upside Down. While going to rescue Steve at Upside Down, Nancy discovers that Upside Down is stuck in the past, specifically the day Will Byers first went missing in season one.
