Although it's a little more expensive than I would like…it retails for $170— a recommendation from a friend who had it and the fact that it was a wardrobe staple gave me the push I needed.
I liked the way it fit the first time I tried it on – it's a little big – but I never imagined what I'd pair it with. It seems designed to be worn with jeans and a simple t-shirt, but I definitely wear it with dresses and even dress pants, replacing a blazer when I want to dress more casually. That being said, versatility isn't the main reason I always recommend this cardigan: it's the quality. Honestly, I've lost count of how many times I've washed my cardigan, but it's still like new.
This cardigan is part of the French brand's core collection, so each season it is available in a color palette that changes over time. However, shades like red, tan, navy and pink are always in stock unless they sell out, which happens more often than you might think.
