On Sunday night, the Dallas Wings won the WNBA Draft Lottery for the second straight season.

The Wings, who selected Paige Bueckers No. 1 overall last year, had a 42 percent chance of getting the top pick again. Minnesota, which had the best record in the league last year, will pick second. After the previous trade, the Bobcats had a first-round pick from the Chicago Sky.

Seattle, Washington and Chicago have completed the lottery.

The league will expand to 15 teams this season with the addition of Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire. Expansion project details for these two new franchises have yet to be announced. Both teams will also have the sixth and seventh picks in next April's draft.

Pace to flip a coin for pick #6

According to the WNBA Lottery broadcast, Tempo and Fire will later flip a coin to determine who will receive the sixth pick.

The WNBA is currently negotiating with the players union over a new collective bargaining agreement. Both sides agreed to extend the deadline from October 31 to November 30. Assuming negotiations on a new CBA can be agreed, the draft would typically be carried out in April.

While there isn't a clear No. 1 pick in the draft like Bueckers was last season, there are plenty of draft-eligible players in college, including UCLA's Lauren Betts, UConn's Azzie Fudd, LSU's Flower'Jay Johnson and TCU's Olivia Miles. There is also the Spanish player Ava Pham.
